AB 109 Housing Program

Fred Brown is an AB 109 approved housing facility.

Transitional and Sober living houses (SLHs) are alcohol- and drug-free living environments that are increasingly being used as housing options for probationers and parolees.

The Fred Brown AB 109 Program serves clients who are under Post Release Community Supervision and Mandatory Supervision, who meet specific criteria through the Los Angeles County Probation Department.

This program provides enhanced strength-based case management services in collaboration with HealthRight360 and your Deputy Probation Officer (DPO). Community re-entry services include housing, employment, vocational rehabilitation, transportation programs, and other referrals and linkages to resources. Room and board are included in this program.

If you are on AB 109 State Probation, you may be eligible for funding through the HealthRight360 (HR360) contract. Please contact your Deputy Probation Officer (DPO) for a possible referral to Fred Brown Recovery Services Transitional and Sober Living Housing Program. You may also call a Navigator at HR360 at (213) 351-2800.
